The Mayo Clinic is a nonprofit American medical center committed to clinical practice, education, and research. The clinic aims to solve the biggest healthcare challenges through continuous research and by providing integrated care to those in need.
Holy Cross Services (HCS) was founded to meet the needs of Michigan’s children with nowhere else to turn. HCS specializes in empowerment and trauma recovery for children and families engaged in the child welfare system and provides support to Michigan residents to end episodic homelessness.
A Place Called Home was founded in 1993 as an organization that could provide gang-affected youth of South Los Angeles with a haven away from the dangers of the streets. APCH has since continued to serve South Central youth and their families through education and arts programs, mental health counseling, mentorship, job readiness, college scholarships, civic engagement, and more.
The Salvation Army is a multinational charity organization that provides a wide range of social services and humanitarian aid to those facing adversity. The Salvation Army offers food assistance, homeless shelters, addiction rehabilitation, disaster relief, and community outreach in over 130 countries.
Pathways of Hope is a non-profit that aims to provide access to food, shelter, and housing to those experiencing hunger and homelessness in Orange County, California.
The Golden Years Foundation of Orange County (GyfoOC) is a volunteer non-profit that aims to brighten the lives of underprivileged senior citizens by providing gifts of experiences, outings, or basic necessities to those who might not otherwise have the means to afford them. Using the funds generated from their annual charity golf event, this foundation has touched the lives of many in Orange County.
The Desert Angle is a Michigan-based volunteer organization that creates and anonymously delivers care packages to deployed military personnel. These packages often contain words of encouragement, hope, love, and needed personal items that are meant to show appreciation for the soldier’s sacrifice.
The Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry is a pantry run by the Vincent De Paul Ministry that provides food and other essential resources to families facing economic challenges in southwestern Michigan.
Doctors Without Borders is an international humanitarian medical organization that delivers medical aid in conflict zones, areas affected by epidemics, or regions struck by natural disasters. This organization provides essential healthcare services irrespective of political or religious boundaries.
Catholic Charities’ Sacred Heart Village is a tiny homes project that aims to help and support homeless veterans in Flint by providing them with transitional housing and self-betterment opportunities. The initiative aims to uplift the flint community and provide resources that will ultimately reduce homelessness in the region.
Food on Foot is a non-profit organization that provides unhoused and low-income Los Angeles residents with meals, clothing, and a fresh state through training and employment opportunities. Every Sunday, volunteers go on foot to distribute meals and other essential resources to those in need.
Interval House is a Connecticut-based agency dedicated to ending domestic violence and providing services that will prevent and break the cycle of family and intimate partner abuse. By creating an environment for victims to heal and acquire the tools to move on, Interval House able to help thousands of victims recover each year.
The Intrepid Fallen Heros Fund is a non-profit focused on providing care to service members suffering from traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and post-traumatic stress (PTS). This origination provides care to enable soldiers to continue their service and/or enjoy a full and productive life after retirement.
